Helping people
get more from
their software.
I’ve spent more than a decade helping people use software: troubleshooting problems, writing guides, and answering privacy questions. Now I’d like to help PostHog customers understand what’s happening in their products and work out what to improve.
What interests me about PostHog
I like being able to follow a problem from a funnel to the session behind it, then check whether an error explains what happened. That makes for a much more useful conversation with a customer.
The work I want to do
I enjoy getting to know customers, digging into difficult questions, and explaining what I find. I’d like to keep working with them as their team grows and their needs change.
More than a decade helping people use software.
My work has taken me from technical support to customer success and privacy. In each role, I’ve worked closely with customers and the teams building the software.

Senior Customer Support → Privacy & Compliance
I started in customer support, focusing on the Windows app and working with developers and QA to investigate issues. I later moved into privacy and compliance, where I worked on data governance, vendor reviews, and security questionnaires for prospective customers.

Here’s where I’d start.
A few customer questions I’d enjoy working through, and how I’d use PostHog to investigate them.
Keep being useful.
I’d want to understand what each customer is trying to achieve, help them get there, and notice when something gets in the way.
Help people find answers for themselves.
I’d work through a real question with the customer, build an insight they can come back to, and explain how to read it. The aim is for their team to feel comfortable doing it again.
Take their data questions seriously.
I’d help customers understand what they’re collecting and why, talk through replay masking and recording settings, and check that the setup matches their needs.
Check in when something changes.
If a team stops using PostHog, I’d want to know why. Their priorities may have changed, someone may have left, or they may need help. I’d ask, then work out what would be useful now.
Stay with the problem.
I’d investigate what I can, keep the customer updated, and give engineering a clear description and reproduction when I need their help. Then I’d follow up to make sure the fix actually helped.
Outside work, I make things.
I’ve published two Obsidian plugins and entered a Mac app in the Glaze contest.
